Survey among industrial companies and enterprises concerned with waste management

Feasible alternatives for the incentive system have to be developed in course of the work package 3 in order to support industrial companies and companies in the field of waste management. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the existing obstacles for the establishment of the incentive system in Russian regions and to identify potential areas of improvement in waste management. As a first step, a survey was conducted among industrial companies and enterprises concerned with waste management.

Heads of companies, environmental engineers, production managers and persons who are responsible for the waste management in their company were questioned.

All together 112 companies from 13 regions of Russia have taken part in the survey, namely:
44 - Primorsky Krai
14 - Leningrad Oblast
13 - Zabaykalsky Krai
12 - Kemerovo Oblast
10 - Republic of Buryatia

4 - Kaliningrad Oblast
3 - Saratov Oblast
2 - Novosibirsk Oblast
2 - Tambov Oblast
